Overview
If you forgot your password, you can easily reset it using the forgot password link on the login page. You need your username and access to your email address. You also need your MFA method to verify your identity. In some cases, you're asked to answer your security question instead of using MFA.
Steps

On the login page, click the forgot password link.

Enter your username and click Continue.
CQ through Salesforce sends an email to the email address that's configured in your CQ personal settings. The email contains instructions to reset your password.
If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, click Resend the email, and then repeat Step 2.

Click the link that's provided in the email. The link expires within 24 hours of when you requested password reset.

CQ through Salesforce prompts you to verify your identity. If you use multi-factor authentication (MFA), Salesforce prompts you to complete an MFA challenge. If you don't use MFA, Salesforce asks you to answer a security question.

After you verify your identity, enter your new password.
