Uploading Content for Part Specifications

Purpose

As a Part Creator, you can add Primary Content to the Controlled Document generated for a new Part or Part Revision. This maintains accurate and approved information therby allowing users to access only the current, authorized version of a document.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ PLM Extension

Product: ProductQuest

Function: Parts

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ PLM Creator PSG

Record: Part record must exist

Steps

1. Open the Part record.

2. Drop/Upload Files in the Content section.

3. Click Done.

Expected Outcome

• The content for the Part Specification Controlled Document is added.
