Completing Document Drafts for Immediate Changes

Purpose

As a Document Owner, mark the document Complete to notify the Change Owner that it is ready for approval.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

User Profile: Standard User

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Immediate Change - Controlled Document

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Document Owner PSG

Record Status: Controlled Document in Draft Status with Change Order linked

Steps

1. Open the Controlled Document record.

2. Click Complete in the Next Best Action section.

Expected Outcome

• The Controlled Document Approval Status is set to In Change Approval.

  • The Submit for Approval button for the Immediate Change appears in the Next Best Actions section when the Approval Status for all documents in the Immediate Change is set to In Change Approval.

• The Immediate Change Status is set to In Progress.
