Submitting Planned Changes

Purpose

As a Change Owner, you submit a Planned Change to start the review and approval process for a proposed modification. This step confirms that the change details are complete and ready for evaluation.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Planned Change

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Record Status: Draft


Steps

  1. Open the Planned Change record.

  2. Click Submit in the Next Best Actions section.

  3. Provide a Comment and specify the Password.

  4. Click Save.

Expected Outcome

  • The Planned Change has moved to the Triage Stage.

  • An email notification is sent to the Change Order Queue.

  • The Owner field is now set to CQ Change Queue or CQ Urgent Change Queue based on the selected Priority.

  • Submitting Change Order activity appears on the History tab.
