Searching Related Product Risk for NCs using AI

Purpose

As an NC Owner, you can review related Product Risk records to support accurate and consistent risk evaluation.

Recommendation Criteria

  • Matches NC Title and Description with:

    • Potential Failure Mode / Hazard

    • Potential Failure Effects / Harm

  • Matches NC Failure Code with Product Risk Hierarchical Code.

  • Includes only Product Risks linked to the Design File associated with the NC Part or Process.


Filtering Logic

  • Filters apply based on available Process, Product, and Hierarchical Code in the Design File.

    • Process only

      • Product Risks linked to the Process

    • Product only

      • Product Risks linked to the Product

    • Process and Product

      • Product Risks linked to Process OR Product

    • Hierarchical Code and Process

      • Product Risks matching Hierarchical Code AND Process

    • Hierarchical Code and Product

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ NC Owner PSG, CQ Design Owner PSG, Prompt Template User, Data Cloud User, CQSS AI User PSG


Steps

  1. Open the Nonconformance record in the Triage stage and Draft status.

  2. Click the Assess Risk option from the drop‑down arrow.

  3. Select the Risk Model and click Next.

  4. Go to the CQ.AI Recommendation section.

  5. Navigate to the CQ.AI Recommendation section.

Expected Outcome

  • The CQ.AI Recommendation section appears after you select a Risk Model.

  • You see the top three Product Risk records that match the Nonconformance.

  • Each Product Risk appears as an AI card with key details, including:

    • Failure Mode / Hazard

    • Failure Effects / Harm

    • Potential Causes

    • Residual Severity

    • Residual Occurrence

    • Residual Risk

  • You review the recommended Product Risks to support your risk assessment.
