Purpose
As a Change Owner, you can document how a proposed change affects related processes, products, or systems. This helps you determine required actions before approving or implementing the change.

Installation Package: CQ Core
Product: QualityQuest
Function: Planned Change
User Profile: Standard User
Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Steps

Open the Home tab notification.

Click View to open the Planned Change record.

Click Complete in the Next Best Actions section.

Answer the Impact Assessment Questions.
Next Question will be populate based on the answer.

Click the Next button to go to the next page.

Verify the Responses and click the Previous button if you need to go back and revise your Response to the Questions.

Verify the Outcomes of the Assessment Response.
Outcomes populate as a result of a Response and can include Generic Tasks, Document Change Tasks, or any other Task Types that can be carried out in Planned Changes.

Add any Additional Activities needed for the Planned Change by clicking the New button.

Once everything is verified and added to the Complete Impact Assessment window, select a Result: Go to continue the Impact Assessment; No Go to stop and put the Impact Assessment on hold.

Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

Click Finish.
Expected Outcome
-
Impact Assessment Execution is Complete.

Outputs indicated can be viewed from the Impact Assessment Executions section, on the Impact Assessment tab.

The Planned Change remains in the Open Status and Impact Assessment Stage.

If the Result was No Go, the Workflow Status is On Hold.

Impact Assessments with a Result of Go have been automatically routed for Approval if Impact Assessment Approval is required.

The Completing Impact Assessment activity appears on the History tab.

Approve and Reject buttons appear in the Next Best Actions section.
