Voiding CAPAs

Purpose

As a CAPA Owner, void a CAPA when the CAPA is no longer required.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: CAPAs

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ CAPA Owner PSG

Record Status: Draft, Open, or Complete

Steps

1. Open the CAPA record.

2. Click Void from the Action Menu.

3. Select Void from the Resolution Code list.

Note: Voided CAPAs can be reopened.

4. Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

5. Click Save.

Expected Outcome

• The CAPA Stage is set to Void.

• The CAPA Status is set to Void.

• The Voiding CAPA activity appears in the Record Activities section on the History tab.
