Adding References & Files

Purpose

As a Record Owner, you add references and files to attach supporting information to the record. You upload documents or link to related items so reviewers can access the materials needed for assessment or investigation.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, myCQ Extension, CQ Supplier Central, CQ Supplier Performance, CQ Ratings Framework, CQ Embedded Analytics, and CQ AI Extension

Product: QualityQuest and Platform Apps

Function: CQ Reference & File Addition

User Profile: Standard User

For Permission Set Groups: CQ Base User PSG, CQ NC Owner PSG


Steps

  1. From the References section, optionally select a Controlled Document to reference to the nonconformity (i.e., part specification).

  2. Optionally select the Equipment used to test the part or asset associated with the nonconformity for reference (i.e., digital caliper).

  3. From the Files section, click the Upload Files button or drop file into the Nonconformance record.

:warning:

Additional References can be added after the Nonconformance is Submitted.

You add the references and files so the record includes the supporting information needed for assessment or investigation.
