Linking Existing CAPAs

Purpose

As a Record Owner, you link an existing CAPA to the complaint when the issue is already addressed by an open or closed CAPA. You select the relevant CAPA and add the link so reviewers can reference the associated corrective or preventive action during complaint evaluation.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ Regulatory Reports Extension, CQ AS2 Gateway Extension, myCQ Extension, and CQ AI Extension

Product: QualityQuest and Platform Apps

Function: CQ Existing CAPA Linking

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Complaint Owner PSG

Configurations: CQ Tasks


Steps

  1. From the Complaint record, Details tab, Closure section, click the Edit button.

  2. Search for and select the appropriate existing CAPA record.

  3. Click the Save button.

Expected Outcome

  • The CAPA record is linked to the Complaint record, Details tab, Closure section.
