Reopening Planned Changes

Purpose

As a Change Owner, you reopen voided Planned Changes when the change becomes needed again. This returns the record to active status so the work can continue.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Planned Change

User Profile: Standard User

Extension Package: CQ PLM

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Record Status: Open

Steps

1. Open the Planned Change record.

2. Select Reopen on the Action Menu.

3. Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

4. Click Save.

Example

Expected Outcome

• The Planned Change moves back to the Stage and Status it was in upon voiding.

• Reopening Change Order activity appears on the History tab.

• Reopen Comments can be viewed on the History tab.
