Permit Activation confirms that all prerequisites, reviews, and safety checks are complete before work proceeds. It ensures the permit reflects current conditions and that required actions, such as FLHA or Atmospheric Testing, are completed or planned.
The Permit Owner updates the permit status to Activate, Deactivate, or apply a Time Extension once the record is ready. Keeping the status current supports accurate work tracking, operational visibility, and a reliable audit trail for all permit‑controlled activities.
