Linking Change Requests to Planned Changes

Purpose

As a Change Owner, you link Change Requests to an Planned Change to show how the urgent action relates to other planned or proposed changes. This maintains a clear connection between records and supports accurate tracking.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Planned Change

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Record Status: Open


Steps

  1. Open the Planned Change record.

  2. Open the Reference tab. Then open the Change Requests section and click New.

  3. Select the Change Request.

  4. Provide a Comment, if applicable.

  5. Click Save.

Expected Outcome

  • Change Requests are linked to the Planned Change record.

  • Change Requests record can be accessed by the Change Owner.

  • Click View All to see all reference records for the section.
