Removing BOM Items

Purpose

As a Part Creator, you can remove a BOM item to delete a component that is no longer required in the product structure.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ PLM Extension

User Profile: Standard User

Product: ProductQuest

Function: Parts

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ PLM Creator PSG, CQ Design Owner PSG

Steps

1. Open the Part record.

2. Click Remove at the end of BOM line item.

3. Click Yes. 

Expected Outcome

• The BOM item is removed.
