Closing CAPAs

Purpose

As a Change Owner, close completed Change Requests to finalize the change process.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Change Requests

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Change Requestor PSG

Record Status: Complete

Steps

1. Open the Change Request record.

2. Click Close in the Next Best Actions section.

3. To link an existing order, select Link Change Order. To create a new order, select New Change Order.

4. Click Next.

5. If linking an existing order, select the Change Order. If creating a new order, create the Change Order.

6. Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

7. Click Save.

Expected Outcome

• The Change Request Stage and Status are set to Closed.

• The Change Order is linked on the Reference tab.

• The Closing Change Request activity appears in the Record Activities section on the History tab.
