Searching Controlled Documents for NC Risk Assessment using AI

Purpose

As an NC Owner, you can review recommended Controlled Documents to support accurate risk assessment and maintain documentation traceability.

Note:

Recommendation Criteria

• Matches NC Title and Description with content from Controlled Documents.

• Includes only documents with:

  • Current status

  • Risk document category

• Uses Secondary Content when available.

• Uses Primary Content only when Secondary Content is not present.

• Excludes images from relevance scoring.

• Supports .pdf, .html, and .txt file formats.

Installed Package(s): CQ Core, CQ.AI Extension

Product: QualityQuest, Platform & Technology

Function: CQ.AI Agent

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Document Owner PSG, CQSS AI User PSG, Prompt Template User, Data Cloud User

Steps

1. Open the Nonconformance record in Draft status at the Triage stage.

2. Select Assess Risk from the drop‑down menu.

3. Select a Risk Model and click Next.

4. Go to the CQ.AI Recommendation section.

5. Review the recommended Controlled Documents.

Expected Outcome

• The CQ.AI Recommendation section appears after risk model selection.

• The top three Controlled Documents are displayed by relevance.

• Each document appears as an AI suggestion with key details.

• You can select documents for the assessment.

• Selected documents are added to the Risk Assessment and carried into the final review.
