Submitting Approval for Change Plans

Purpose

As a Change Owner, you submit Change Plan Approvals to confirm your decision and move the change to the next step in the controlled review process.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ Approval

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Planned Change

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Approvers: Minimum of one assigned

Record Status: Open


Steps

  1. Open the Planned Change record.

  2. Provide a Comment if applicable.

  3. Click Submit for Approval in the Next Best Actions section.

Expected Outcome

  • Change Plan Approval Status is Pending.

  • Email Notification is sent to approvers.

  • The Submitting Change for Approval activity is displayed on the History tab.

  • Approve and Reject buttons appear in the Next Best Actions section.
