Summer 2026 Help

Part Design

Purpose

The design and development phases are crucial in the product lifecycle management. A product needs to go through design, research and development. Design focuses on creating a user-centric experience, while development brings the product to life by implementing the design. These phases also allow for iterative improvement and alignment with the product strategy. Once a product is found to be feasible and potentially profitable it is produced, promoted and sent out to the market. CQ PLM is integrated with CQ Design through Design Files.
