Reviewing Recommended NC Failure Codes using AI

Purpose

As a User, you can review AI‑recommended Failure Codes to classify failures accurately and reduce manual searching.

Prerequisites

Installed Package(s): CQ Core, CQ.AI Extension

Product: QualityQuest, Platform & Technology

Function: CQ.AI Agent

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ NC Owner PSG, and CQSS Similarity User PS

Steps

1. Open the Nonconformance record.

2. Go to the Investigation tab.

3. In the Defect/Failure section, select the Failure Code recommendation icon.

4. Select the radio button to apply a recommended Failure Code, if needed.

Expected Outcome

• A list of recommended Failure Codes appears in the CQ.AI Suggestions – Failure Code window.

• Recommendations are based on active Hierarchical Code descriptions.

• Suggestions display in a table with these columns:

  • Term

  • Type

  • Category

  • Severity

  • Description

  • Score

• Displayed columns follow the configured Field Set
  (Hierarchical Code object – Field Set: CQ Lookup Fieldset).

• Selecting a radio button applies the chosen Failure Code to the record.

• Failure Code classification becomes faster and more consistent through AI‑generated recommendations.
