Finding Information with the CQ Knowledge Agent

Purpose

As a CQ User, you can use the CQ Knowledge Agent to find authorized information in CQ‑QMS from the current record.

Prerequisites

Installed Package(s): CQ Core, CQ.AI Extension

Product: QualityQuest, Platform & Technology

Function: CQ.AI Agent

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Document Viewer PSG, CQSS AI User PSG, CQSS Knowledge Assistant, Prompt Template Manager, Data Cloud Architect


Steps

Note: Ask questions in natural language to get clear, concise answers from authorized content. Avoid searching across multiple documents.

  1. From the CQ‑QMS record, select the Agentforce icon in the top navigation bar.

  2. In the dropdown menu, select CQ Knowledge Assistant.

  3. Select Show More to expand the conversation.

  4. Enter a question about the document content.

Expected Outcome

  • The Knowledge Agent opens and shows a clear welcome message.

  • You receive answers based only on documents you can access.

  • Responses appear as bullet points or short paragraphs.

  • The Agent does not display information from restricted documents or external sources.

  • If no permitted content matches the question, you see:
    “I couldn't find an answer in the official documents I’m allowed to reference. You may try rephrasing your question or checking with the appropriate team.”

  • If technical issues occur, you see:
    “I am currently not able to answer your question due to technical difficulties. Could you please try again sometime, or contact your support team for assistance.”
