Adding Design Files References to Design Projects

Purpose

As a Project Owner, you can link a Design File to a Design Project to associate relevant design documentation with the project record.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ Design Extension, CQ Management Review Dashboard Extension

Product: ProductQuest

Function: Design Projects

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Design Owner PSG

Design Project Record Status: Open

Steps

1. Open the Design Project record.

2. Open the Reference tab.

3. Click Add. Then link the Design File record.

4. If applicable, click Create Design File and enter the required information.

5. Click Save. To add another Design File click Save& New.

Expected Outcome

• Design File record is linked to the Project record.

• Design File Edit and Delete options are available.

• Click View All to see all Design Files.
