Initiating Change Impact Assessments

Purpose

As a Change Owner, you can record the areas affected by the planned change and define the scope that requires review. This task ensures you document the initial impact before other reviewers complete their assessments.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Planned Change

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Record Status:


Steps

  1. Open the Planned Change record.

  2. Click the Initiate Impact Assessment button in the Next Best Action section.

  3. Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

  4. Click Save

Expected Outcome

  • Impact Assessment tasks change to Open Status.

  • The Planned Change remains in the Open Status and Impact Assessment Stage.

  • The Impact Assessments marked with Step 1 & Step 0 will be routed to Task Assignees

  • Once all the Step 1 Impact Assessments are completed with the Result of Go.

  • Initiating Impact Assessment activity appears on the History tab.

  • The Complete button appears in the Next Best Actions section.
