Overview
Moving the Design File to Production involves finalizing all approvals, confirming that all design documents are complete and at the correct revision, and packaging the approved files for release into production systems. Once verified through change control, the design file is assigned a production baseline, transferred to manufacturing, and placed in its “Released” state to ensure production teams work with accurate and controlled documentation.

Optional Extension Packages: myCQ & CQ PLM- Winter 2025
User Profile: Standard User
Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Design Owner PSG, and CQ Design Team Member PSG
Instructions

From the Design File record, select the Edit option from the Action Menu to enable field editing.

Select the Production option from the Stage field drop-down arrow menu.

Click the Save button.
Results

The Design File moves to the Production Stage.
