Adding Controlled Document References to Design Projects

Purpose

As a Project Owner, you can link a Controlled Document to a Design Project to associate required documents with project deliverables.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ Design Extension, CQ Management Review Dashboard Extension

Product: ProductQuest

Function: Design Projects

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Design Owner PSG

Record Status: Open

Steps

1. Open the Design Project record.

2. Open the Reference tab.

3. Click Add. Then link the Controlled Document record.

4. If applicable, provide the Document Purpose.

5. Click Save. To add another Controlled Document click Save& New.

Expected Outcome

• Controlled Document record is linked to the Project record.

• Controlled Document Edit and Delete options are available.

• Click View All to see all Controlled Document.
