Creating Complaints

Purpose

As a Complaint Creator, you create a Complaint to capture the initial details of a reported issue. This ensures the information is documented so the Complaint can proceed to review and assessment.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Complaints

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Complaint Creator PSG


Steps

  1. Open the App Launcher and search for Complaints, or select Complaints from More.

  2. Select New.

  3. Enter Contact Information.

  4. Enter the Description.

  5. Enter Product Information.

  6. (Optional) Upload related Files.

  7. Select Save or Save & New.

Expected Outcome

  • The Complaint record is created with a unique number.

  • The Owner defaults to the user who creates the record.

  • The record opens in Draft Status and Draft Stage.

  • The system creates a Complaint Contact when the user selects Contact during record creation.

  • The user can create additional Complaint Contacts from New when the flexi page includes the component.

  • The Submit button is active in Next Best Actions and Open Activities.

  • The related task Owner is the user who creates the Complaint record.

  • Due Date and Change Owner options are available for the task.

  • Complaint Age displays as 0.
