Voiding Planned Changes

Purpose

As a Change Owner, you void Planned Changes when the change is no longer required. This removes the record from active work and keeps the system accurate and up to date.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Planned Change

User Profile: Standard User

Extension Package: CQ PLM

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Record Status: Void


Steps

  1. Open the Planned Change record.

  2.  Select the Void on the Action Menu.

  3. Select the Resolution Code.

  4. Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

  5. Click Save.

Expected Outcome

  • Planned Changes move according to the Duplicate or Withdrawn resolution code.

  • The Voiding Change Order and Void Comments activity appears on the History tab.

  • Voided Planned Change can be reopened at any time.
