Voiding Change Requests

Purpose

As a Change Owner, void a Change Request when the change is no longer required.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: Quality Quest

Function: Change Requests

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Change Requestor PSG

Record Status: Draft, Open, or Complete

Steps

1. Open the Change Request record.

2. Click Void from the Action Menu.

3. Select Void from the Resolution Code list.

Note: Voided Change Requests can be reopened.

4. Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

5. Click Save.

Expected Outcome

• The Change Request Stage is set to Void.

• The Change Request Status is set to Void.

• The Voiding Change Request activity appears in the Record Activities section on the History tab.
