Overview
Use Design Project Planning Phase to define the work needed before the project can move forward. Set clear Milestones and Deliverables, so the team knows what to complete in each phase. Use the Status of these items to decide when the project is ready for the next phase.
In this phase, you typically:
-
Add Milestones to mark key decision points or events in the project.
-
Add Deliverables to describe the documents, designs, or outputs required in this phase.
-
Update Milestones and Deliverables with dates, owners, and status as work progresses.
-
Mark Milestones and Deliverables as Completed when requirements are met.
-
Confirm that all required items are Completed before moving the project to the next phase.
