Submitting NCs

Purpose

As a Record Owner, you save and submit a Nonconformance (NC) to move it from draft to the next step in the workflow. You review the recorded details, save any updates, and submit the NC so it can proceed to triage or evaluation.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, myCQ Extension, CQ Supplier Central, CQ Supplier Performance, CQ Ratings Framework, CQ Embedded Analytics, and CQ AI Extension

Product: QualityQuest and Platform Apps

Function: CQ NC Save & Submit

User Profile: Standard User

For Permission Set Groups: CQ Base User PSG, CQ NC Owner PSG

Steps

1. Enter Comment and Password if needed, and click the Save button.

Example:

Expected Outcome

• The NC record is submitted for triage and remains in Draft Status but moves to the Triage Stage.

• The Submitting NC action is logged in the Nonconformance Record Activities section under the History tab.

• The Owner field is now set to CQ Nonconformance Default Queue.

• An Email notification is sent to the CQ Nonconformance Default Queue members.

• The Next Best Actions section is now populated with Containment activities (if required), Disposition activities (if required), and the Perform Triage action options.
