Creating Change Requests

Purpose

As a Change Requestor, create a Change Request to document proposed changes that require review before implementation.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Change Requests

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Change Requestor PSG


Steps

  1. Open the Change Requests tab. Then click New.

  2. Specify this information:

    • Title
      Specify the change title.

    • Priority
      Specify the Priority.

    • Description
      Provide the description.

    • Change Category
      Specify the Change Category.

    • Target Completion Date
      Specify the target completion date, if applicable.

    • Justification
      Specify the change justification.

    • Org. Division
      Specify the Org. Division, if applicable.

    • Org. Business Unit
      Specify the Org. Business Unit, if applicable.

    • Org. Region
      Specify the Org. Region, if applicable.

    • Org. Site
      Specify the Org. Site, if applicable.

    • Department
      Specify the Department, if applicable.

    • Product
      Specify the Product, if applicable.

    • Process
      Specify the Process, if applicable.

    • Additional Impacts
      Specify the additional impacts of the change, if applicable.

  3. Click Save. To create a new Change Request, click Save & New.

Expected Outcome

  • A Change Request is created and assigned a unique number.

  • A Change Request is in a Draft Status and Draft Stage.

  • The Change Request Owner is set to the user who created it.

  • The Submit button appears in the Next Best Actions section.
