Operation Definition Creation

Overview

Operation Definition controlled documents are created from individual Operation records. They include step-by-step instructions for performing the operation and may also include images or videos to help users better understand the task.

The Operation Definition functionality in Process Manager works in conjunction with CQ’s Document Management solution which allows Users to create and manage Operation Definitions which can be used to identify Work Instructions related to specific Company SOPs. Operation Definitions are drafted and approved using all of CQ’s existing Controlled Document workflow functionality and once approved, can later be viewed by Process Users and used when adding Process Steps (Operations) to Process Definitions.
