Setting Evaluation Cycles

Purpose

As a QMI Manager, you can set an Evaluation Cycle in a CQ Location to prepare the location for creating a Rating Scorecard.

Prerequisites

Installed Package(s): CQ Core, CQ QMI - Summer 2026

Product: Platform & Technology

Function: Set Evolution Cycle

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ QMI Manager PSG

Steps

1. From the App Launcher, search for CQ QMI, and select the app.

2. Open the CQ Locations tab, and select a Location Name from the list.

3. From the Action Menu, select Set Evaluation Cycle.

4. Select a Scorecard Evaluation Cycle: Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, or Annual.

5. Select a Rating Model.

6. Click Save.

Example:

CQ Location record linked to a Rating Model having a mix of “Automated and Manual/only Manual” Metrics, when set for the Evaluation Cycle, will generate a Rating Scorecard that is in the “Scheduled Stage” and displays no (blank) “Scoring Status”.

CQ Location record linked to a Rating Model having only “Automated” Metrics, when set for the Evaluation Cycle, will generate a Rating Scorecard that is in the “Scheduled Stage” and displays a “Scoring Status” of “Pending”.

Expected Outcome

• A Rating Scorecard is created with a unique number.

• The Rating Scorecard appears on the related CQ Location record with a Schedule Status.

• The Rating Scorecard is set to the Scheduled stage.

• Scoring Status displays No (blank) when metrics are manual or mixed.

• Scoring Status displays Pending when all metrics are automated.

• The Owner defaults to the user who created the Evaluation Cycle.

• The Submit Metric Scores button appears in Next Best Actions.
