Downloading Document Files

Purpose

As a Document Owner, download a document file to review content or prepare updates during development or maintenance without changing the document status.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Controlled Documents, Template Documents

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Document Owner PSG

Record Status: Draft

Steps

1. Open the Controlled Document record.

2. Click … for the Primary or Secondary file in the Content section.

3. Click View File Details.

4. Click Download.

Example

Expected Outcome

• The file downloads to the local drive.

• The Download count updates in File Engagement section.
