Purpose
As a Change Order Owner, create an Immediate Change to quickly update or approve Controlled Documents in Draft status that are not linked to a Planned Change, allowing the documents to move forward without delay. Immediate Changes can also result from an approved Change Request.
Prerequisites
Installation Package: CQ Core
Product: QualityQuest
Function: Immediate Change
User Profile: Standard User
Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG
Steps

Open the Change Order tab. Then click New.

Select Immediate Change from the Record Type list. Then click Next.

Specify this information:

Title
Specify the change title. -
Priority
Specify the Priority. -
Description
Provide a description. -
Change Category
Specify the Change Category. -
Submitted By
Specify who submitted the claim, if applicable. -
Submitted Date
Specify the date of submission. -
Target Completion Date
Specify the target completion date, if applicable. -
Justification
Provide a change justification. -
Org. Division
Specify the Org. Division, if applicable. -
Org. Business Unit
Specify the Org. Business Unit, if applicable. -
Org. Region
Specify the Org. Region, if applicable. -
Org. Site
Specify the Org. Site, if applicable. -
Department
Specify the department, if applicable. -
Product
Specify the product, if applicable. -
Process
Specify the process, if applicable. -
Approval Matrix
Specify the Approval Matrix of the change, if applicable.

Click Save. To create a new Immediate Change, click Save & New.
Expected Outcome
-
The Immediate Change record is created with a unique number.
-
The Immediate Change Stage is set to In Progress.
-
The Change Owner is set to the user who created it.

The Guide Me button appears in the Next Best Actions section.
