Triaging Change Requests

Purpose

As a Change Coordinator, triage Change Requests and assign a new Change Owner based on the request details.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Change Requests

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Change Requestor PSG

Record Status: Draft


Steps

  1. Open the Change Request from the notification email or from the notification on the Home tab.

  2. Click View to open the Change Request record.

Note: You can also access Change Requests on the Change Request tab by selecting a queue:

  • CQ Urgent Change Request Queue for urgent requests

  • CQ Change Request Queue for all other priorities

  1. Review the Change Request.

  2. To assign an owner and remove the request from the queue, click Change Owner from the Action Menu and select the owner. To work on the request or Void it, assign the request to yourself.

Expected Outcome

  • The Change Request is removed from the queue and assigned to the selected owner.

  • The Submit for Approval button appears in Next Best Actions section for the assigned owner.

  • An Email Notification is sent to Approvers.
