Document Periodic Reviews

Overview

Document Owners can schedule and perform periodic reviews for Controlled Documents within CQ. Periodic reviews help ensure that documents remain accurate, relevant, and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements.

During the review process, Document Owners have three decision options:

  • Continue Use – If the document is still valid and requires no changes.

  • Revise – If the document is no longer valid and needs updates.

  • Retire – If the document is no longer applicable and should be removed from active use.

By following this process, organizations can maintain document integrity and ensure that only current and approved information is available for use.
