Purpose
As a Record Owner, you update the Primary Complaint Investigation to record new information gathered during the investigation. You review the existing details, add or adjust findings, and confirm the investigation reflects the most current evidence before the complaint moves forward.

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ Regulatory Reports Extension, CQ AS2 Gateway Extension, myCQ Extension, and CQ AI Extension

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Complaint Owner PSG

Steps
To make an Investigation primary, the Part, Part Family, and Complaint Code of the Complaint record must match the Part, Part Family, and Defect Code of the Investigation record.

From the Complaint record, Related List Quick Links section, click the Associated Items link.

From the Associated Items page, click the New button.

Search and select the Complaint record.

Enter information as needed.

Click the Save button.
