Document Libraries in CQ are predefined storage locations that Document Owners use to organize files for Draft, Released, and Distribution Ready documents. Each Library location holds files that match a specific document status, so users know where to find and store the correct version.
By assigning documents to the appropriate Library location, Document Owners keep draft work separate from approved and distribution-ready content. This separation supports consistent file handling, reduces use of incorrect versions, and maintains clear control over documents through their lifecycle stages.
