Reopening Investigations

For Permission Set Groups: CQ Base User PSG, CQ NC Owner PSG

If needed, the NC Owner can reopen the approved Investigation once the NC investigation is in Complete Status. NC record can be in either Disposition/Investigate Stage or in Implement Stage or in Verification Stage, as needed. This allows the NC Owner to update the Investigation Summary as well as add any more Actions needed for NC completion.

1. From the Nonconformance record, select the Reopen Investigation option from the Action Menu.

2. Enter Comment and Password if needed, and click the Save button.

Results

• The Reopening Investigation activity is logged in the Nonconformance Record Activities section under the History tab.

• If NC was in Implement Stage or Verification Stage, NC will reverts back to the Disposition/Investigate Stage and Open Status.

• The Investigation will reverts back to the In Progress Stage and Open Status.

• The Investigation activities can now be carried out once again by the NC Owner. See Performing NC Investigations.
