Adding Related NC References to CAPAs

Linking Related NC References

Nonconformances created using CQ’s Nonconformance Management product can be linked to the CAPA record under the Reference tab for NCs that may need to be escalated to a CAPA. If CQ’s Nonconformance Management is not yet being used, the CAPA Owner can also attach any References to Nonconformances under the Notes and Files section of the CAPA record.

1. From the CAPA record, Reference tab, Related NC section, click the New button. See the CQ End User Guide - Nonconformance.

2. CAPA defaults to open record number; leave as is.

3. Search and select the Nonconformance .

4. Click the Save button or Save & New for additional Related NCs.
