Completing Plan Phase for Design Projects

Purpose

As a Project Owner, you can complete the Plan phase to confirm the project plan is defined and ready for the next stage. This action records your decision and moves the design project into its next phase.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ Design Extension, CQ Management Review Dashboard Extension

Product: ProductQuest

Function: Design Projects

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Design Owner PSG

Record Stage: Plan

Steps

1. Open the Project record.

2. Click Submit Plan or Complete Plan in the Next Best Actions section.

Note: Submit Plan only displays if the Planning Phase requires Approval.

• Provide a Comment and specify the Password, if applicable.

• Click Save.

Expected Outcome

• If Approval is required, an email notification is sent to the assigned approvers.

• If Approval is not required, the Project record moves to the Development Stage and remains in an Open status.

• The Submitting and Completing Plan activities are displayed on the History tab.
