Adding Related Finding References to CAPAs

Linking Related Findings References

Audit Findings created using CQ’s Audit Management product can be linked to the CAPA record under the Reference tab if the Audit Findings have been escalated to a CAPA. If CQ’s Audit Management is not yet being used, the CAPA Owner can also attach any References to Audit Findings under the Notes and Files section of the CAPA record.

1. From the CAPA record, Reference tab, Related Findings section, click the New button. See the CQ End User Guide - Audit Findings.

2. Search and select the Finding.

3. Optionally, check the Resolves by CAPA toggle.(If checked, the Audit Finding in the Audit record will be closed upon closure of the CAPA record.)

4. Optionally, enter Comments.

5. Click the Save button or Save & New for additional Related Findings.
