Voiding Complaints

Purpose

As a Record Owner, you void a complaint when the record was created in error or is no longer valid. You update the status to void the complaint so it is excluded from further processing and reporting.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core, CQ Regulatory Reports Extension, CQ AS2 Gateway Extension, myCQ Extension, and CQ AI Extension

Product: QualityQuest and Platform Apps

Function: CQ Complaint Void

User Profile: Standard User

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG, CQ Complaint Owner PSG


Steps

The Complaint record cannot be voided in the Closure Review and Closed Stage. In the In Progress Stage, if the Primary Investigation and Regulatory Report is Open, then the Complaint record can’t be voided.

  1. From the Complaint record, select the Void option from the Action Menu.

  2. Select the Resolution: Void.

  3. Enter Comment and Password if needed, and click the Save button.

Expected Outcome

  • Complaint record moves to the Void Status and Null Stage.

  • From the Complaint record, History tab, Complaint Record Activities section, Voiding Complaint Activity and Comment are visible.

  • Voiding Complaint activity is logged in the Complaint Record Activities section under the History tab.

  • Resolution is set as Void.

  • Escalate to CAPA, Reopen, Clone, Print, and Download action buttons are available.
