Linking Change Orders to Planned Changes

Purpose

As a Change Owner, you link Change Orders to a Planned Change to show how the urgent action connects to related controlled changes. This maintains accurate tracking and keeps all change records aligned.

Prerequisites

Installation Package: CQ Core

Product: QualityQuest

Function: Planned Change

User Profile: Standard User

Extension Package: CQ PLM

Permissions: CQ Base User PSG and CQ Change Order Owner PSG

Record Status: Open

Steps

1. Open the Immediate Change record.

2. Open Related Change Order. Then click New.

3. Select the Related Change Order.

4. Reference Type defaults to the Related.

5. Provide a Comment if required.

6. Click Save.

Expected Outcome

• Change Order record is linked to the Immediate Change record.

• Change Order record can be accessed by the Change Owner.

• Click View All to see all reference records for the section.
